Re: veggie oil
Didn't think it could be done. Veg oil and modern common rail diesel engines aren't compatible - it just destroys the engine. The folks that seem to use veggie oil seem to use a blend and even then, only on cars like the Pug 306 with the old XUD engine or the Mercedes 190D with its old style indirect injection engine. Incidentally, you can get veg oil (rapeseed) for about 55p in 20litre drums from places like Makro or Costco. That seems to be what the veggie brigade use, but even then, they blend it with diesel / petrol. The real hardcore veggie brigade install twin tank solutions to reduce the likelihood of the injectors gumming up. But again, I emphasise that these are on old cars, with old style diesel engines. Modern engines with ECUs are a no-no for the veggie brigade.
