toora t675 wheels
I have changed the standard 195/60/15 wheels in my 2001 147 with toora t675 7,5JX17. On the wheel it is inscribed that the ET is 35. In an other thread here, I've read that ti wheels have ET 40,5.
The car has the stock suspension which I won't change very soon. Would it be wise to change the toora offset to 40,5? The thing is that I'm going to have them repainted, and if the offset changing should be done, I'd like to do it before the painting job. After changing the stock wheels for the toora, the steering wheel always ''pulled" to the left no matter what I did (changing the wheels from left to rigfht, or bringing the rear wheels to the front). The tyres I had were SILVERSTONE SPORT 215/45/17. Many suspension aligning technicians told me that it was the tyres fault and not the wheels. Now I will put MICHELIN PILOT 4, and I wouldn't like to have the same problems again. That's why I'm asking if there's an ET problem.
