I would run a mile simply because any Alfa 147//156/GT owner that doesn't know the correct terminology for wishbones, bushes and droplinks could have failed to take care of a multitude of other things that they haven't got a clue about..
what the hell is a silent block or flail?
as pub says it's easy enough IF thats all thats wrong but someone talking gobbledygook about things that need doing on ANY used car is a rather large red flag to me.
if you want an alfa 147 spend the next month or so researching the models, their variants, the pro's and cons of each engine type and balance it with your needs and monthly mileage.
plenty of 147's out there but there are quite a few different trim levels and engines ,2.0 TS,1.6 TS, 1.9 JTDm, 3.2 v6, pre facelift, post facelift, turismo Lusso, ducati corse,sportivo..
you won't know whether you are getting a bargain or paying though the nose until you research this stuff...buying one because its shiny and the right price is almost the best way to throw a lump of money down the drain or find yourself with a biggish garage bill shorty after purchase.
Alfa's are just a little bit different to most cars so arm yourself with some knowledge prior to buying. learn a bit and you will end up with a fantastic car for the right price...don't and well, don't say you weren't warned..!
