Cool Tuning Chips for 156 115PS

A few people at work have these fitted to their BMWs, and they've reported how good they are at increased acceleration and fuel economy.

Does anyone here have these products to their Alfa? My 'new' 53 plate 156 JTD 115PS is soooo slow !

Many thanks.

I have one that is similar to the second link (on my 1.9 GT)

If you search under 'tuning box' you can find lots of info and decide for yourself.

I wouldn't pay £250 for one. They can be had for sub £100 on ebay.

Ran a dtuk crd-t on a 1.9 156 Astra( same fiat engine) and it really transformed it, now running a newer crd-t+ on the 2.4(175) and by Christ it doesn't half shift( you can't openly buy the crd-t for the 2.4 only the red box from dtuk, but the 1.9 crd-t works a charm )

Tuning Box
Pro - Cheaper, Transferable, Removable, Several Settings
Con - Not as good as a remap, Only changes normally fuel delivery

Pro - Adjusts all settings specifically to your car / Engine (If on a Rolling Road), No box or wiring,
Con - Cost, Can't transfer it, Harder to revert back to original settings

That's about it in a nutshell.
