Alfa GT 3.2 timing belt
I had a look at the timing belt the other day and something odd was going on with the actual belt. It was a normal toothed belt, but in between the teeth, the belt had little cuts, in between every tooth, in the valleys so to say, the belt looked cut. Normally I would think that is wear and tear and the belt was in need of urgent replacement but what strikes me as odd is that these cuts were between every tooth. Could this just be a modern belt which was given more flexibility by having these cuts as then it bents and curls better??
belt looks something like this: _I_ _I_ _I_ _I_ _
