Deposit On A New Q2

After Months Of Looking For A Used Gt, I Have Just Put A Deposit On A New Gt Q2 In Oltremare Blue (much Better In The Flesh Than I Photos I Had Previously Seen- Less Purple Than The Moon Blue).

Was Going To Get A Diesel Blackline But Got A Q2 For The Same Price. (also Test Drove The 1.8 Ts But Felt It Was Underpowered When Compared To The Jtd- Though It Is Still Good Value)

I Much Prefer The Wheels On The Q2 And Dont Think I Would Have Been 100% Happy With The Blackline Wheels.

It Doesnt Have Parking Sensors But Thik I Will Get The One That Fits Behind The Rear Number Plate.

So, I Will Probably Pick It Up In 1-3 Weeks Then The Fun Will Begin!!!!!!

Congratulations. I've had mine for 3 months now and it has been nothing less than perfect and a great drive.

Great choice, like everyone says, you won't regret it. Mine was the same, new a couple of months ago, but no parking sensors - so with the scare stories in the reviews about poor rear visibility, I had the dealer fit the number plate ones before delivery. TBH I'm not sure it's worth it, they're only useful when going straight back, and that's not hard to judge - the OEM ones are more discreet on the bumper, and are also fitted at the corners (they are aren't they?) so more useful...I'd advise leaving them off and try it for a few weeks and see what you think (esp. if you're paying extra for them).

You have done well to get the Q2 for the same price as a blackline

Re: Deposit On A New Q2

I have had my JTD Q2 for about 6 months now and have no complaints or problems so far and love the car. I do have the rear sensors on the corners of the back bumper and think it was well worth the price. The back window is quite small and it is difficult to see at the corners though I have become pretty nimble using the side mirrors. Parking with the sensors is fantastic as you know just how much space you have as the beeps become faster the closer you get. It also beeps to warn you when you engage reverse gear. It is a bit aggravating when you get back in and it is beeping if left in reverse when you start up and are fiddling with your belt and getting things organized. I would go for the corner variety.

Happy motoring !
