fecking parking sensors

getting an annoying fault tone the minute I engage reverse...

am aware it could be a number of things and don't currently have the inclination to diagnose it so how do I disconnect the control unit? not even sure where it is...

I don't use it anyway really.

car is an 07 GT blackline.

most probably one of the sensors gone,
i have the same fault tone too,
as i know the control unit is under the bumper left hand side and you need to take mud guard off to get an access
might be wrong tho haven't got it done yet
as for finding faulty sensor put the gear in reverse and ignition on, go to rear bumper and listen to sensors closely, you should hear a ticking sound from sensors, the broken one wont be pulsing
