Does the vim actually have any advantages over the standard manifold?
What would the car be like with the standard manifold, 2.0 throttle body and the 2.0 cams?
Just wondering because i thought it felt better with just the 2.0 throttle body before i put the vim and cams in.
Im going to have to pull the inlet out again because i think i damaged the gasket and now ive an oil leak. Cant buy a replacement gasket from the motor factors but ive nice heavy gasket paper that i can make my own.
Im also not too happy with the vim because the loom isnt sitting right now, im afraid wire will get damaged.
I also got an engine warning light tonight which now has me worrying something like the lambda wire got snagged. Ill get the car plugged in tomorrow and reset the ecu though.
Maybe its worth experimenting with the manifold because its actually very easy to swap once the engine mounts on front are undone and sat on a jack.
