147 locked itself, key in the ignition - any ideas?
My brother in law has left his 147 with us as it going on SORN for few months, and we have plenty of space to stash it. I took it down the lane (private, so tax not required...) to turn it over, then brought it back to the house, parking next to the garage so I could give the battery a charge. Left the key in the ignition, flipped open the bonnet, hooked up the charger and let it get on.
When I returned, the car was locked, with the key still in the ignition. Hmmm. I've tried all the other Alfa remotes we have, just in case it has been triggered by another car, but no joy.
As the bonnet is up, I was wondering if there are any Alfa tricks that can be performed? It is not a complete disaster, the BIL will be posting the second key on Monday, but I'd like it moved!
