Squeeky Clutch

I noticed today that while I was at on my drive and I went to put the clutch in I could hear a squeak from the clutch, pretty sure it is just the pedal squeeking but any ideas from anyone?

Re: Squeeky Clutch

Mine is caused by the micro switch which rests on the clutch pedal. About every 6 months I put a small amount of grease on the pedal where the plunger touches.
PS I have no idea why a manual car has a switch on the clutch
