No I was referring to your GT Q2 JTDm, (its on your profile)
Heh! Yeah, the old girl's going well. 10 years old this year (8 years of ownership for me) and coming up to 150K miles. I must have spent as much as I bought it for by now, I had a count up of the receipts about this time last year, including servicing it was over £8K.
Had a minor coming together with a Range Rover just before Christmas, driver wandered to the right out of his lane and put a minor scuff on the rear NS wheel arch. Took it to a local place I'd heard good things about, said it would be no more than (a brown envelope) £250 to sort. Well, I'd been thinking of smartening it up for a while so went the whole hog.
They did a really good job for £1250, unfortunately for that money I didn't get the door shuts done and I took off all the handles, badges, lights, grille, reverse sensors, headlight washer covers, aerial and so on.
Unfortunately I couldn't get the bl00dy bumper off, the torx bolts inside the boot were rusted. Bit of a shame that as there's a slight mismatch now on the bumper shelf where the tailgate closes.
Looks good though, and I've now got the bumper off... used some mini cutting discs and a dremmel and took the heads off the torx bolts. Just need it to warm up a bit before taking it off again to replace the knackered bumper clips. Expensive for what they were, 20 odd quid for a pack of 5.
