Help Lower Wish bones need replacing......

Hi all

I was told at the last service by main dealer that the lower wishbones needed replacing. I didn't have it done as it was a full belt service!!

I've been told you need Alfa to set up the suspenion geometery once they are replaced any way... Would it be better to replace the uppers as well?

Besides the uneven tyre wear I am starting to get what would happen if I left it? Also does any one know of a good independant garage in the Cheshire area?

Its an 2001 156 2.4JTD with only 113K

I would have thought only tracking would need setting up!

Any garage could change the lower and upper wishbones - it is straight forward enough job to do.

Also any good wheel alignment shop can do the alignment - just set the front tracking to parallel for lower tyre wear.
