Service stamps, how important are they to you?
Must admit I like a nice row of stamps in the book, I bought my GT in 2008, 2 years old, book stamped with main dealer. Since then the old girl has been serviced on the button at my local Indy, I supply the parts taking advantage of any offers that pop up in between services.
Thing is I'm more than capable of doing my own servicing but it would mean losing my treasured service record. Given that the car's done just shy of 150k miles and is coming up to 10 years old is this just a waste of money? I'm effectively paying around £100 to get a stamp in the book.
What does everyone else do once their pride and joy is pretty much worthless on the 2nd had market but is still loved?
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
