Alfa GT 3.2 faster than GTV 3.0 Litre?
Hi guys, I sold my GTV 3.0 litre a few months back and bought a GT 3.2 and I love everything about it, the shape, the power, the handling, the sound (oh my god the sound!!!).
However my GTV felt a little bit more responsive in throttle response, and in terms of performance up to 70 MPH, and possibly even as fast in straight line performance onwards and upwards into triple figures (on a private road of course...) although its very difficult to tell now that I don't drive the GTV anymore.
My GTV had all the recommended upgrades, CF2 manifolds, custom map, fully up-rated exhaust, Carbon Dynamics forced induction airbox, GTA clutch + flywheel and it felt fast, really fast.
My GT 3.2 also has all the recommended upgrades:
Ragazon exhaust, CF2 manifolds, uprated airbox, carbon fibre custom made plenum, customer remap, AP springs dampers all round, Eibach ARBs. It also feels very fast but just doesn't seem to rev as freely throughout the rev range as the GTV.
I know the GT has high lift cams or it could be just that the GT is so much more planted with the suspension upgrades so the speed may not be as 'in your face' but just wanted some GT 3.2 owners views on their cars performance compared to the 3.0 litre GTV. How do they compare??
Oh yeh forgot to mention when it was remapped they mentioned it was quite 'tricky' and the torque and BHP graph lines don't seem to be as smooth as they should be. I'll post the chart here later this evening.
Any comments would be welcomed!
