Mine was terrible, slamming the drivetrain in first and reverse no matter how careful one tried to be. Tried and tested adjusting the rod, and changed some sensors on the gearbox, but nothing helped. All was sorted with the new clutch.
Been through most known specific GT JTS sele issues now, including
- clutch @ 150.000 km
- accumulator @ 180.000
- hydraulic pump unit @ 170.000
- worn cams @ 180.000
- coils @ frequent
And now in with a drinking problem (colant) headgasket gone due to age it seems, the head seems all good.
Fun drive, but extremely unreliable with jts and sele. Better balance than the other variants though.
Top up your oil and keep a bottle of omega injector cleaner in the trunk. Fingers crossed..
Mine is now at 117' miles.
V6 is cheaper to maintain..
