Nitrous Oxide - Twinspark
Anyone actually done it?#
Looking at Wet kits looks pretty simple to install and setup. You basically run a rich mixture through the inlet of No2 + Fuel (Petrol). Something like 11/1 to keep it all from running lean.
Though about looking into it as it seems a simple concept. I can get No2 from welding services pretty cheaply a bottle that would sustain a 50hp boost for approximately 2 mins 20 seconds would cost less £4 a hit (Inc the petrol I'd use in the wet system).
As I said it's also cheap and easy to do. Okay you don't get the permanent increases that you would a Forced induction setup. But considering I've already fitted LPG and its own fuel lines.
The No2 setup looks a piece of cake. Something I could do in a day the cost is a couple hundred.
I also don't travel flat out everywhere but having a bit extra on tap would be nice if I fancy a bit of a blast.
My question is... Has anyone actually done it before?
