Hello people, I've just bought a 147 which I love by the way, but a couple of niggles the heater to de-mist the windscreen takes an age it seems the airflow is quite low is that the pollen filter or thermostat I've seen mentioned on here or something else? Also the gear stick is quite loose and it seems a reach I had it similar on a golf and a new linkage did the trick, is this common on 147s?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Change the pollen filter, definitely worth doing first as its a cheap and easy job!

What temperature does your engine get up to when driving about normally?

Do all your heating controls light up at night? If one of the bulbs is blown in the controls for some reason the heater won't blow properly. Easy, cheap fix fitting a new bulb. There will be a thread somewhere about it.
