147 GTA's ground clearance

I'm trying to import 03 or 04 147 GTA from Japan to Korea.

To register the car in Korea, the car's lowest point should be higher than 120mm..

Does anyone have idea about the ground clearance on 147 GTA Jap Ver.?

Thank you~

Re: 147 GTA's ground clearance

is the 147 GTA much/any different to the V6 GT, i wonder? is jap-spec any different to aus-spec/other?

i did a rough measurement under my GT. due to the plastic engine guard, the minimum clearance is well under 100mm. probably more like ~90mm. but most of the car is considerably higher. seems quite odd, cos my local road authority regulations stipulate a minimum of 100mm. (NB: despite having Eibach springs fitted, the front is not lower than the factory springs (rear is), cos i've measured it before and after and since).

so if the GTA is anything like the GT, there's no way it's 120mm clearance throughout.

GT . 3.2 . Q2 . Kyalami Black - Red . Eibach . KONI . ASSO . ATP 19" . TAROX . FERODO . Mille Miglia exhaust
155 . 2.0 8V TS . Grigio Grey - Grey . H&R coilover . Enkei 17" . TAROX . GOODRIDGE . REMUS
75 . 3.0 . Alfa Red - Grey

Re: 147 GTA's ground clearance

No idea about 147GTA, but I know that 156 GTA has exception in some countries. I donít know if there is EU regulation or just national but for example in Austria a car has to be 10 or 11 cm over ground (not sure exactly). 156 GTA got an exception to be able to sell there because it is only 90mm over ground in its lowest point. I guess 147GTA will be very similar in ground clearance.

I wonder if you can get past this rule by temporaraly fitting very high profile tyres in large diameter rims
