Limp Mode

Hi can the abs and asr light cause the car to go into limp mode, no engine management light is on or the mcsf ?

limp mode is a safety mode to protect engine from damage i would think no. But i'm guessing.

If your curious about why you got limp mode, I think the ecu stores previous codes.

The limp mode would turn on the engine management light.
However there are lots of problems that could cause a big power loss and still not trigger the engine light, like stuck EGR, bad MAF/MAP, split turbo hose, and the turbo itself.
