alfa gt clunk from suspension
A couple of months ago I hit a bad pot hole at about 30 mph on a country lane... ever since there has been a loud clunk when driving over small bumps or uneven roads.
It isn't the usual squeak or creak that I've had on previous 147's / 156's etc... it sounds/feels like its coming from behind the pedals.
A garage changed the upper arm and some kind of bush, but to no avail. A local Alfa-specialist changed the lower arm on Monday, but that too hasn't made a difference.
He reckons its either the anti rollbar or the shock itself... with the ARb probably being a £200 job and the shocks circa £300... but neither is guaranteed!
I'm just trying my best to limit this to a £250 pot hole, rather than a £500 + pot hole.
