New Clutch, Squeaky Pedal...

I recently posted about a slipping clutch and it turned out to be academic...slipping was of no issue when I couldn't change gear!

Anyway, got the car back today with the new clutch fitted and the difference is incredible to before it went. The pedal is actually loose and smooth and so on.

However, it now creaks like a pensioners knees....any ideas on how I can get around this? I appreciate the radio will drown it out most times, but I do sometimes like to just listen to my car as I drive!!

there's a good thread on this already if you search in '147/156 and GT' forum.

you need to get your head next to the pedal and master cylinder, and with a torch, see whats going on.

the addition of strategically placed washers and lubricating the master cylinder can cure it.
