Done allot of browsing before but no posting. I'm hoping you can help with a bit of insight. I have recently (around 10 month ago) changed the front anti-roll bar, top wishbones, bottom wishbones, front shocks and drop-links. I must say it was probably the biggest pain in the a#?e of a job I have done on a car. Much to my disappointment yesterday the clutch went to the floor. Further inspection under the car found fluid dripping from the bell housing and a massive pool on the drive
There is no fluid in the car near the clutch so must be the slave cylinder in the bell housing.
My question is to get at the slave cylinder (as it's a combined release bearing/slave cylinder) I guess the following will need to be removed:
1. Font NS shock
2. Front NS brakes
3. Front NS Lower wishbone - bleeding things
4. Front NS drive shaft
5. Possibly lower the subframe - again..although last time it came off)
6. Split the exhaust/remove manifold
7. Battery tray
8. A never ending selection of pipes/cables
What have I missed, probably loads.
Then replace, release bearing/slave cylinder and clutch.
Many thanks for your input
