147 lusso brake light wiring
I did search for this particular problem but I could find no reference to it.
I have an intermittent failure of the n/s brake light. This would appear to be a fault in the loom as far as I can tell, because the checks I make tally with what the on-board-computer tells me.
The warning light comes on on the dash with a "BEEEEEP" and the brake light ceases to function. The warning light will go out of its own volition and (I believe) the function is restored to the brake light.
I have been unable to establish any pattern to this or any related action responsible for it. On the occassions I can check it the two problems (warning on - brake light out) are always in line with each other.
This, I guess, rules out the computer as the whole thing points to an intermittent loom connector fault.
Right; the question is "where the bloody hell is the loom?"
I have followed it from the n/s light unit behind the boot interior trim but without ripping all the boot trim out I am now stumped.
I don't want to remove anything I don't need to so if some kind soul out there has had all this stuff out and knows where that loom goes please let me know as well!
I have bought a CD manual off fleabay today so that might help but I don't think they give answers as to the location of the connectors.
Any thoughts? Please?
