Well today has been spent getting rather oily after having the cars codes read, had all the coil packs of the car, checked then cleaned all connections, earth points checked, undone cleaned then re attached as they should. found a dodgy coil on the front head so got it replaced and hey presto car ran mint all the way through the gears up to speed etc. took it back to recheck codes and once again nothing.
so drove her home and within twenty mins of driving a very faint misfire appeared, by the time i got home the faint had become obvious. sounded like it was running on 3, almost no power and would barely rev. limped home after shouting at it.
gonna sit and call it names for a bit then decide what to do with it, sell it and buy a vr6 springs to mind
