Seems odd that so many UK companies are sitting on stock for left hand drive cars!

I replaced a master cylinder on my car a couple of years ago - went to a motor factors to get the part, they looked in their books, on their computer and ordered the part number listed. When it came to fitting I noticed the shaft to the pedal was considerably longer than the one to be replaced. It appears that the part numbers over here, by some suppliers, point to a left hand drive car (longer shaft) than the correct one we need for right handers with a shorter shaft. Ended up running over to Bradford to shop4parts and got the correct one (by the way the picture on their website IS of the correct part).

Before, when I had my 155, I replaced a broken headlight with a stock part from a dealer. At the following MOT, the tester was puzzled with the headlight pattern - that was for a leftie too, so the headlights were cross eyed!!

I guess all it takes is for a man in Arese, Italy to have a bad day and you have the wrong part...
