Fully draining the coolant on my 156.

Hello again to all,

The antifreeze / coolant in my cooling system looks a little pale.

Can any of your excellent people tell me;

What is the best way to fully drain the coolant so that i can refill with the correct amount of new antifreze etc ready for the winter ?.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Fully draining the coolant on my 156.

Isn't really a way apart from pulling the main radiator pipe off the lower end ... don't have engine drain taps/plugs now. When you re-fill, put the anti-freeze/coolant in neat first then top up with water (I use distilled/deionised, but then I live in a hardwater area). I then keep a few litres of a 50/50 mix in the garage.
