147 - Break-in. Alarm deactivation
I've had my 147 for about 4months now and loving it of course. However I had a bit of a fright yesterday morning:
Went to get into car to go to work, noticed that the bonnet was partially open, one of the doors was partly open, and when I pressed unloock on the FOB the indicators flashed but no beep - so presumably the alarm had been deactivated. Nothing had been taken other than a bag of pick and mix sweets (!) which were also spilled out on the road.
I presume someone has tried to nick the car but got interrupted but I'm a little worried about why the bonnet was open and why the alarm had not gone off (the little light usually flashes on the dashboard to indicate whether the alarm had gone off). So does this suggest that these b*stards can simply crack open the boot and deactivate the alarm from in there? If so does that also unlock the doors...?!
Any suggestions welcome. thanks
