Oil Pressure sensors on newly-done 3.2 keeps popping

Hi All,

I had to have my GT 3.2's engine done, and three oil pressure sensor units got popped, oil pressure meter also says the pressure is too high.

The mechanics have cleared all pipes etc., and have also checked the release valve on the (New) oil pump. All fine.

But, they filled up with 'straight 40' oil.

I have now arranged that they flush the engine, and fill it with Castrol Edge 10w60, which is the spec and which I am using in my other Alfas.

But could actually be the cause, or is there something else I should have them check out?

We are all at wits' end this side, so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
