Anyone tried the pf pads that autolusso are selling?
Had a "clench" moment with my pads (everything else is in top conditition) so I'm looking for a spirited driving pads. Toying with the pf ones (£100 still grates for pads!!) Or maybe Dr2500 (£,,+++!!)
Anyone tried them?
Hi, i was always unhappy with m Gt's brakes, average feel and easy to fade and dirty.
I tried a quiet a few pads to find the best allrounders, ferrodo, brembo etc
The best i found were the Ferrodo DS performance, ( Ferrodo range did go , SL(cheapest), Premier/premium(oem), DS Performance(fast road), Ds2500 (fast road but mainly trackday noisy and didnt like them when cold), DS 3000 ( well trackday)
I only had them fitted for a month but never faded, bite was much better and much less dust, great when cold and hot.
The only reason i took them off was after finally finding a setup i liked i found a new Brembo GT Kit that costs £1200 for only £500 so it was a no brainer, (better than what i took off but tbh the ds performance pad was good enough and i would of stopped my seach for the right pad, but the option to have brembos was to hard to resist)
I still have them they are like new in the box if anyone wants to buy them. :-). i do think the autolusso pads are quite expensive but i have only heard good things about them. Pounds vs Performance ????
FYI My new BREMBOS came with brembo HP 2000 and i took them out after two months, they were inconsistent and very noisy. i now have Ferrodo ds performance in them too. 85% of the time you need a pad for everyday driving so pads that don't work so good when cold are a pain, but you want one that can also handle the occasion sesh were we drive them like you should.
