I've had the 2.4 JTD Wagon for 5 and a half years and she's never wanted for anything. But the problem with the auxiliary belt has beaten me. Friday was the last straw and she's going on ebay. The odd thing is that for the last two months the belt has been quiet and the car performing better than ever but perhaps it's time for someone else to try and win!
Performance enhancements: Eibach springs/FSD, Eibach ARB, Powerflexed front, Alfatune remap, EGR Delete, Pre-cat replacement pipe, Ali undertray, and then there's all the replacement parts: Air con compressor, Alternator, PS pump, new set of tyres, PF pads, HD drop links, turbo etc, Cam Belt two months ago. And don't forget the OEM Xenons!
It's a great car and will give the GTA a run and will beat it over twisty roads due to the massive torque. I've really, really enjoyed the car but I've called time, enough is enough. She WILL NOT be broken, the body is rust free and undersealed and will make an excellent project for someone to sort it out.
But I've got the GTA to finance so something has to go, and the Missus say's she's not going anywhere
