Anyone done this on a 156 and if so are the results any good?

Re: 156 front Strutbrace

the 156 chassis enjoys a double wishbone arrangement on the front so a strut brace will not provide the same benefit as on many other cars that use a single wishbone. double wishbone setups better maintain suspension geometry, however you should still be able to feel the extra stiffness, and you know the suspension geometry will remain even more accurate under load, so imo its not a waste of money, just dont expect a huge difference.

Re: 156 front Strutbrace

I've been told it's an almost essential, mind-bogglingly different and worthwhile upgrade on the 156 from a couple of guys I know. Though, I've not read anyone saying it on here in a while and I've absolutely know knowledge of it other than what I've been told by those two. Their reasoning as I recall was that the front struts are quite far forward from the bulkhead, so there's a fair bit of flex in them that the strut brace removes. Not got or driven a 156, so that could be rubbish for all I know.

Ex 95 164 TS Super, 95 164 QV, 97 164 V6 Super all very much missed.

Re: 156 front Strutbrace

I fitted a Momo strut brace to my ex-156. I noticed a little extra stiffness but not a huge difference.
