Lecky window probelms

My passenger side window switch stopped working a while ago, I can use the drivers switch to put the window up or down. Now I've gone out to the car just now and the rear windows are unresponsive either from the rear switches or the drivers panel.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this could be and a remedy?

If the rear windows haven't been used for some time its quite possible that they have simply seized in the runners.....very common on 156s - not had a 5-door 147 so no experience of them. You could try listening carefully by the rear door whilst the switch is operated - if you hear a faint clicking then the motor is probably trying to move the stuck glass - in which case try sliding a thin blade all around the window:seal joint, and spraying some silicone lube into the channels. If there is no sound, then either the motors have burnt out/seized, or you have a power supply problem. Can't be sure if the rear windows are powered by a seperate fuse.....
