Alfa Romeo 147 pre-facelift fog light

Hi All,

So went to change what I thought was a duff fog light bulb last night (fiddly as fudge, its the model with the fog lights in the main cluster). Turns out the bulb was good, just the fog light was not working. Passenger side was good, drivers side, not good.
And ideas before I go nuts with a multimeter??? Am i ruling out the fuse??? is there just the one for the fog lights?? and not seperate ones for each side??

I belive the fog lamp bulbs are H1, which only have one male spade connection and ground through the metal base. Check the ground cable (female spade) which will connect to male spade on the metal socket the bulb fits into inside the headlight, it's possible it might have accidentally been pulled off when the bulb has been changed in the past.
