What constitutes a complete driveshaft on eBay?

I ordered a "complete" driveshaft from a German vendor.

The shaft came missing the inner shaft, the image in the ad showed a complete shaft.

Komplett = complete in German, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.

Have you contacted the vendor?
My experience with german ebay vendors is that they are extremely accommodating.
Something I ordered arrived in a box that was damaged by the shipping company (they taped it back up with packing tape carrying their logo so no dispute there), I accepted it anyway because the shipment did not contain any small parts.
Unfortunately a big part was missing...
Contacted the vendor with pictures of the taped up packaging so they could claim with the shipping company and they sent me out a parts list via email to indicate what exactly was missing.
I just emailed back the part number and they shipped the missing part to me at no cost.

Things go wrong all the time, it's how companies deal with it that matters.

You will probably be OK to use what you have there - the inner Spider joint you have ringed is the one that is prone to wear on the diesel models, and unless the missing part ("cup") is also worn, then you will be able to fit it and it'll work. The good thing about them not supplying you the Cup means that the spider bearings are the same spec as standard, they fit the standard Cup. I had a 159 in a few weeks ago which has had a recon complete driveshaft in the past, but the inner spider bearings are worn now, however the Cup fitted is different to an original Alfa part and so now both the Cup & joint are having to be replaced together with original parts. I'm skeptical of the quality of the inner joints where driveshaft manufacturers use a different size Cup & spider bearing.
