Fule Pressure Problems - bouncy idle?
I've been chasing my tail since getting my 156 trying to fix an issue when if you dip the throttle when moving the revs *sometimes* bounce up and down. I've had it hooked up to Alfadiag and there's no errors stored, tried throttle and ECU resets.
Throttle body has been cleaned and all inlet pipes checked for leaks, inc PCV valve clean.
So far I've either replaced or ruled out (by swapping for a new/known good one) -

I've known for a while that if I rev it hard over 3k and dip the throttle it will idle fine, but today I noticed that I can drive it at 1.5 - 2.5k *gently* and dip the throttle and the revs will bounce from 800 - 1400. However if momentarily give it a fair amount of gas (but not for long enough for the revs to rise) before dipping the throttle it will idle perfectly.
This now makes me think that it could be a fuel pressure issue?
Anyone got any better ideas, I'm not going to start cutting wires behind the clocks as I've seen in some threads, but I'm coming to the end of my patience!
