Selespeed is no autobox. It's a manual with an auto clutch, and will never behave like a good auto. This was the first sequential robotic single clutch system ever fitted to a normal production vehicle, and as allways, first attempts are rarely perfect.
Same system as f 355 and astons
Magneti Marelli also made BMW's smg, not sure if it's the same.
Very quick and effective shifts. Needs to be driven with care, and takes some getting used to. Works very good when you know how to drive it properly.
Parts that will wear: clutch, pump, actuator, accumulator
Likes to be driven nicely and like a manual, you want to be ahead of it at all times.
Will cost more to maintain than a stick
