I fitted my N/S/F upper arm today because I discovered there was too much play in the busshing but I really believe the annoying knocks on uneven roads are coming from worn ARB bushing. When I removed the drop links and went for a gentle drive the knocking had reduced. Me being me, I didnt tighten the top suspension mount befor the drive which did produced occasional noise not similar to the usual samba. I did notice that the ARB was able to slide side to side thru the bushing but when I fitted every thing back, most of the noises if not all has gone. Now, the reason for my tales is that am having ARB bushings fitted tomorrow. Minding that it is a job am not looking foward to, should I proceed or chill as the noise isn't there for now?
