Puff of smoke ?

Hi All,

I wondered if any tech gurus could offer any advice on my 156 2.0TS.

If I accelerate hard I sometimes get a puff of smoke from the exhaust (Im pretty sure it is black smoke) also the rim of the exhaust is very 'Sooty' but not oily !

Recently I had some problems and had the balance shaft belts replaced. Also the small Spark plug on No1 cyclinder blew to bits and also melted the Coil pack. I replaced the plug and fitted a second hand coil pack.

car runs fine

Im thinking perhaps it needs a good tune up !!

what do you guys think ?

Many thanks
