Hey, ive read this thread with interest. My intake is exactly the same as yours but with a K&N filter and yes my car is noticable slower off the line (when you dont put 3.5k revs on and drop the clutch) in fact i doubt much is wrong with the motor and the filter is causing the initial problem. You clutch would manifest a problem certainly in lower gears when you floor it so really like others doubt this is your issue. If you poor a few revs on and go for a 0-60 time it will be a fair bit quicker but inductions kits are more about high flow of air at higher revs hence less restrictive. Someone on here also said its all well and good getting lots of air into the engine but its equally important to get the gases out just as quick so your CF3 exhaust set up is most probably strangling your engines ability to expel the gases as it should so an exhaust modification should be on your list. the CF2 doesnt like to 2 precats in the down pipe... stopping and handling are equaly important, I would suggest adding a front/top strut brace to your list of modifications. I found when added, especially if its adjustable, made the front end turn in nice and sharply so with decent springs and dampers you should be well set in that department.. you then are looking to improve gas flow, port and polish the head perhaps is something you could consider. I did hear of someone just the exhaust outlet ports and "deburring" smoothing them off made a bit of a difference.. good luck with it..
