GT clutch pedal sheared a bolt
Went for a drive In my gt yesterday when the clutch failed. Was about to change from 2nd to third when the clutch pedal slammed into the floor. So put it into neutral and puller over.
All of the fluid levels are ok. Looking at the pedal it looks like the pedal has snapped a bolt between the pedal and the rest of the assembly.
I have managed to put a thin bit of metal to reconnect the two pieces but don't know how long it will last for as obviously it is not the correct part.
I hope it is only this and does not need a full new clutch. The problem been is I normally use woodcock garage in Hull but am currently in Portsmouth and don't know if my temporary repair will get me home or to look at going to a garage in or near to Portsmouth.
Any advice is much appreciated and sorry for the long post
Thanks in advance
