Re: 156 Idle Problem
I've now changed the spark plugs and checked the coil pack, the resistance was the same for all 4. I got hold of a 2nd hand maf and fitted it and there was a great improvement. I took the car for a drive and all seemed ok although the idle was still a little high so I tried another ecu/throttle reset, when I started the engine after this the injector light came on and it started hunting between 1000 and 1200 rpm for a minute and then dropped to 800 - 1000 rpm and then settled at about 900, I took the car for a drive and it performed ok I'm sure I can still feel a slight misfire. I have just received a complete coil pack and lead set from e-bay but it must be off a later model as it has a different ht lead set-up to mine, can this still be fitted?
