Ade, I apologise if I offended you in any way,but I put the question seriously because 1. You asked in the other thread if fuel magnets worked, then you proceded to contradict all the views given to you from people had tried them. You did this by quoting very complex reports from research scientists. 2. In this thread you then ask where your carburrettor is on your 156. As you said this is indicative of someone who knows absolutely nothing about the workings of cars.
It just seemed to me that someone who could understand the physics of magnets and their effect on fuel would have a better idea of how a modern engine works, so I suspected that it was a wind up and asked the question, again sorry if it offended.
IMHO this forum attracts most of its members and club members because they need help with their cars, after they get the help they need, most leave, but lots do stick around because it can be very entertaining to spend an idle hour (or two!) here. I don't know if you visit other forums, but on here you have to take careful note of the smilies, they give a whole different meaning to the post. The posts by Pud are perfect examples,to me his replies were tongue in cheek, you didn't take them that way.
Stick around Ade, no one bears grudges,no one wants a fight and when you need help you'll find it on here.
