definitely put a bottle of injector cleaner through as well, the direct injection system used by the JTS will benefit from it..it does seem to be coil packs though by the sound of it. however...
if after the coil packs have been changed where needed and codes cleared if the symptoms persist get the rocker cover off and have a look at the camshaft lobes as one of the lobes being worn will cause misfires..JTS are known for it for three reasons..
1) they use oil at the same rate the twinspark does, so around 1l every thousand miles, check it weekly as i found the usage wasn't even or predictable but does average out at that amount...some owners just fail to top up as they should causing oil starvation, top end suffers first..
2)the direct injection can contaminate the oil with fuel and thin it out, making it less effective and leading to ,again top end wear.
3) there were some problems with the hardening process at the factory making them softer than the TS cams.
good luck I really hope it not cams for you but as a bit of advice, when the cambelt is next due see if you can source a set from a breakers yard or off here, should be do-able for £40-60 and in the event you find an issue you will have them handy..I think on the JTS you may well need them at some point anyway.
