Selling My baby

Hi all I will be selling my 99 2l 156 in the coming months - don't worry I will probably go for a sportswagon ;-)

I have the V6 intake fitted and she has been Angel Tuned. Should I keep quite about the changes when selling or if I advertise the changes will they add or reduce value?

Thoughts peeps?

Re: Selling My baby

Depends who you advertise to, joe bloggs in the street won't want to know as the mods will carry an insurance premium, young Kev or Wayne will only care if they make it louder, and Alfisti would want to know as a matter of course.

PS. Some people see mods as a way of driving down the price at re-sale as it is no longer factory spec. If I were advertising it, I'd include the Angel tuning upgrade, but not include V6 pipe change.

Re: Selling My baby

Have you not got the original resonator unit to stick it back in?

Re: Selling My baby

Don't bother with the resonator: only a knowledgeable Alfisti would know where it was. Joe Bloggs isn't likely to be that good at spotting it as it's hidden in the inner wing. Chavs will just think is sounds OK!
