just a tip

replaced a wishbone today, in the pouring rain. took 5 hours, 1 to do most of it and 4 to undo the the nut on the roll bar link. the allen socket isnt very deep and it rounded off. i wont go into the details but on side 2 tomorrow i am going to heat the outer nut and melt the nylocker in it to reduce the drag. what a b of a job it was. or maybe im just a cr*p spannerman

Re: just a tip

The trade tend use a cutting disc to cut the nut off and replace with new roll bar links as they are not expensive and the labour charge can mount up trying to undo them.

Plus if the wishbones are worn, the droplinks will be worse!
