147 headlight seals

Afternoon people,

Just how difficult a job is to repair the condensation problem on the 147 facelift headlights? I know the bumper has to come off but is it just the seals or is a case of replacing the entire unit?

Headlights are not completely sealed, they have vents.
But the clear front should be sealed to the main body of the headlight and it is that seal where your issue probably is.

I had that on my 147 as well and dried them out, however they got wet and the same thing happened. Ended up replacing them and no problems since..

I got this on my old 147 too after washing it and sometimes in the winter. Very frustrating. However I just lived with it. Only way to probably solve it is too take the headlight apart and then leave it out in the sun to dry out and try and re seal with a new seal and perhaps a bead of sealant
