Re: Coilovers/shock spring kits
can't always have it both ways. the ideal setup for you is probably a coilover set, with adjustable rideheight and adjustable dampers; say the novitec or KW.v2. coilovers tend to use stiffer springs, and you can avoid lowering the car.
but they are relatively expensive.
most (well, 'all' that i know of) aftermarket spring kits that work with conventional dampers will lower the car - not ideal for you.
an option you may wish to explore is having a custom set of springs make, that are stiffer, but won't lower your car. you'd need to see a suspension specialist for this. you won't want to change only the front springs obviously, but go for a matched set of fronts and rears which won't adversely alter the overall handling of the car.
