Re: Alfa dealer tried to fcuk me for diagnostic check
You are right we all like to think we drive prestige cars, and we do, but you can pick an older model up for very little money for what you get, I paid under £5K for mine and it was under 5 years old and only had 31K on the clock but you can get them for a lot less than that. I think one of the things that gives them such poor depreciation is their maintainance costs and, dare I say it, reliability. However nobody has the right to charge the earth for servicing them because of their name. At the end of the day it's a motor built like any other, well you know what I mean. The dealers are there own worst enemy. I would have paid £50 probably a bit more to get my 2 little issues resolved which at the end of the day would have taken 10 minutes tops, but the greed of the dealer has lost them a simple job, either that or they just couldn't be bothered. I've now found somewhere local and friendly that doesn't treat me as a pain in the arse. I am still fuming towards his atitude and whilst I found a good garage out of it shall wait until I get this current problem fixed and calmed down a bit before I pen something to Alfa UK.
We shouldn't be ripped off for driving nice and relatively common cars.
