GT - Any tips for removing the rear bumper?
Hi all, had a problem with the inner passenger reversing sensor, I'd read that it needed bumper removal. I've replaced the inner driver's side in the past without removing the bumper, undoing the 3 underside and the one behind the wheel arch gave enough movement for me to get at it.
Had a go at it last week and had a nightmare with the torx head screws. Again removed the 3 underneath and the one behind the wheel arch but the 3 inside the boot behind the bose amp are rusted quite badly, managed to get the one closest to the rear wheel out but that was it. Also one of the 4 bolts on the slam is just turning too.
Fortunately this was enough for me to get at the sensor and replace it.
I'm now uncomfortable in the knowledge that, should I have to, I can't get the bl00dy bumper off.
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
