Well my 500ml bottle arrived today! Free gifts appear to be a couple of window stickers... Can't quite see myself using these, but if I find the product to be worth shouting about I just might!
As luck would have it I brimmed the tank on my way home from work, so I dosed 210ml of the Rhino straight in (3x70ml for 70L in the tank/lines etc.). Probably a little over the triple dose concentration, but apparently that doesn't matter!
The bottle is hopeless for getting the stuff into the tank, and I think it's downright cheeky that Rhino are charging an extra few pounds for a filling kit/adapter - Especially when they're pricing themselves where they are...
Although I did manage to re-commission an empty bottle of a competitor product *cough*Redex*cough* which I had kept for such a day, and a kitchen funnel which served me well...
First impressions - smells like Millers, but twice the price
So to kick things off, my vital statistics on the OBC immediately before I reset it all:
Average MPG: 59.8 mpg
Average Velocity: 52 mph
Travel time: 29:49
Distance: 1562.9 miles
Actual average MPG over last 10,000ish miles (fuel receipts and Odometer): 49.6 mpg
Last fill receipt/figures: 48.8 mpg over 477.7 miles
Driving style is motorway cruising (88% of my commute distance), with cruise control set at 65-70 mph usually... Although if I've had a crap day at work my right foot tends to get a bit heavier
Will endeavour to keep my driving style unchanged, hopefully will be reflected by average speed! Expect an update somewhere between 400-600 miles when I'll add double dose :thumbs
Car milage is a shade under 54k, last oil change was about 6k ago at when it was fully serviced by Loz and the gang at Autolusso Bournemouth.. Has EGR delete, and Loz's prefered off the shelf remap, and usually fill up with regular Tesco diesel.
